The Institute for Family Medicine, Dr. David Campbell and our Nurse Practioner, Sarah Durnell are pleased to serve the Hancock Place School District as medical director for school health, and to have established the first on-campus medical office in the St. Louis area.
Former Superintendent, Dr. Ed Stewart and the School Board felt that “getting to the doctor’s office” was a problem for many of the students and their families, and worked to develop this on-campus medical office.
Parents will be asked to sign a permission slip if they wish for their child to be enrolled in the Hancock Health Center. Children who have a permission slip on file can be seen when needed at the Health Center, and parents will be notified when their child has been seen. Parents are always welcome to accompany their child to the visit.
The Health Clinic is also available for family members of Hancock Place students to be seen for medical issues.
If your health insurance specifies a primary care physician, and you wish to be a patient of the Hancock Health Center, you will be asked to contact your insurance company and change your primary care physician to Dr. David Campbell. Most insurance plans are covered including MO HealthNet. If you have no insurance your visit will be free of charge.
